Boston, Mass. August 28, 2005 — Future Classic, Boston’s leading lifestyle marketing and entertainment company, today announced that they will host their third Legends of Style event at the new Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on Saturday, October 8, 2005 from 9p.m. until 2a.m. Legends of Style 3 (www.LegendsofStyle.net), will feature more than 30 up and coming and established photographers, contemporary, pop, aerosol, and video artists from New England, New York, and Los Angeles. Stella Artois, Beck’s Premier Light, and Bass Ale will co-sponsor the event.

The 8500+ square foot space at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center will host an eclectic mix of artistic talent, including the legendary NYC photographer Ricky Powell, and Sever, a renowned aerosol artist from Los Angeles who has lent his unique style to a host of brands such as Toyota, Coca-Cola, and Diesel Jeans. The event will also feature a wide selection of local talent such as Rena Coen, Joe Keinberger, Mark Schoening, ninerevolutions, Deirdre Doyle, Percy Fortini Wright, and Andy Regan of Stingray Tattoos. DJ Kon will provide a diverse soundtrack of beats throughout the evening.

As one of the featured artists for the evening, Ricky Powell began his career chronicling New York’s burgeoning hip-hop music scene in the 1980s and early 1990s. With a beat up Minolta camera and a gift at gaining access to back stage green rooms and exclusive parties in New York City, Powell photographed a wide range of celebrities, such as the Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Public Enemy, Andy Warhol, Francis Ford Coppola, Cindy Crawford, Calvin Klein, and Elizabeth Taylor.

“This is our most ambitious Legends of Style event so far,” said Jon Regan, president of Future Classic. “We’ve selected a dynamite group of artists that cover a wide variety of styles and media. Legends of Style 3 will satisfy everyone’s artistic tastes.”

Stella Artois, Beck’s Premier Light, and Bass Ale will provide a V.I.P reception from 9p.m. - 10p.m. that will feature a slide-show presentation by Ricky Powell. The first 200 guests who purchase tickets in advance will be invited to attend this exclusive V.I.P slideshow.
