Future Classic, Boston, Art and Culture Events, Live Music Listings

On Saturday, March 18th, more than 700 people attended Future Classic’s Icons event (www.futureclassic.net) at the Boston Center for the Arts. Guests enjoyed simultaneous live painting by famed street artist, Buff Monster of Los Angeles, and Boston art collective, Project SF. The show also included as an exclusive collection of more than 200 t-shirts from brands such as Staple Design, Upper Playground, Mishka, Exact Science, Rebel 8, Johnny Cupcakes, Green Apple Tree, and Tank Theory, to name a few. Icons also featured the work of 30 designers and artists from across the country. The Weekly Drop also set up shop at the show to interview some of the artists and designers and add some insightful commentary and analysis, as only the Weekly Drop can. The event was sponsored by New Balance, Red Bull, Mass Appeal Magazine, Karmaloop, Stella Artois, and Boston’s Weekly Dig.
