Competition has been the nature of hip hop since day one. And what is better than gettin props? You guessed it, wads of cash.

The annual DMC DJ battle is making its way into Boston Saturday, August 12th at Club Lido. And this year it is gonna be off the chazane! DMC is being hosted by the living legend himself, GrandMaster Caz. Spectators and competitors will be coming from all across New England. As the last stop on the nationwide DMC tour, this night plans to go out with a BANG. The annual DJ battle will be rocking the party all night long. The winner gets free 1st class tickets to NYC where he/she gets a chance to win $30,000 in the national DMC Battle. There is also gonna be a 2-on-2 BBoy battle were the winners take home $500. For those of you out there who are down with the poppin and lockin there is gonna be a 1-on-1 poppin battle were the victor takes home $250.

Those that buy tickets in advance will gain access to the VIP party which will feature an open bar from 9pm-11pm. The event is 18+ to enter and 21+ for the VIP party.
