DESIGN JAM: 7:30PM – 9:30PM
After-party: 9:30PM – 1AM (featuring OXY COTTONTAIL and DJ FRANK WHITE) Promo support by B3 PRODUCTIONS!
THIS IS A FREE EVENT courtesy of UFO HEFEWEIZEN! (MUST sign up on the guest list in order to attend.)
Think you have what it takes to compete against some of the best young designers in New England? UFO HEFEWEIZEN is hosting a design contest @ CHURCH in The Fenway. There are (2) rounds of competition featuring (2) teams of (4) designers each for a total of (8) designers competing for the following prize:
– $500 cash
– (5) cases of UFO HEFEWEIZEN
– A chance to design an actual UFO HEFEWEIZEN campaign!
Each round is only 10 minutes long and the judges will give each contestant an assignment that must be completed in that 10 minute time period. Only (1) winner will be chosen from each round then a final round between the winner of the first (2) rounds will decide the ultimate UFO DESIGN JAM champion!
DESIGN CONTESTANT CRITERIA:
– Must be 21 years of age or older
– Must be an “active” designer either in school, work or part-time
– Must send a link of your work when you sign up
– Must bring your own laptop
THE JUDGES:
‐ Tak Toyoshima, Art Director, Weekly Dig
– Adam Bailey, Creative Director, UFO/Harpoon
– Claudia De Piante, Lead Graphic Design Mentor, Artists For Humanity
– Julian Wadsworth, Producer, Karmaloop.com
After-party will commence with a live set by OXY COTTONTAIL and DJ FRANK WHITE directly after the DESIGN JAM!
