Here's my conclusion and opinion of the characters; Gandalf is the fuckin' man. Without him, all the characters trying to whup Sauron's ass would've never made it to next week. All hail Gandalf!

As one of the best comedians of our generation (I know it's a dramatic statement but it's true), it would seem totally inappropriate to have anyone other than Will Farell portray Buddy the Elf.

Man, there was some terrific inner pain inside these two characters and you could almost sense this feeling of vulnerability, as they were so psyched to get to know each other.
